      that the debt problem is a spending issue.  Actually it is the DEFICIT issue that is the spending problem.

      However, favored tax manipulation is not going to make for the best recovery since the only way to address the DEBT is to grow the economy while keeping taxes fair and understandable.  Add to this a number of other 'reforms' needed and we'll be ok.

      but the existing tax package is cumbersome and has proven to be unworkable.  If you have no plan, or support a candidate with no plan for changing it, then we will be perpetually in disagreement.
