      Like I said in the post, I know none of us think the government should be in the business of providing healthcare to begin with.

      The problem with just eliminating Part D, though, is that you eliminate one of the cost saving components incorporated into Medicare without addressing the broader issue of eliminating the broader entitlement.  

      In other words- this would make it WORSE.
