      Corporate Tax... (none / 0) (#2)
by Corinthian Scales on Fri Jan 28, 2011 at 11:57:51 PM EST
      ...Would like more clarification first.

-- A 6 percent tax imposed on the income of "C" corporations, meaning it would apply to companies with shareholders and not to the "S" corporations such as sole proprietorships and limited liability corporations that are more numerous in Michigan.

-- A tax credit for certain small "C" corporations with gross receipts of less than $20 million or adjusted business income that does not exceed $1.3 million.

Does that mean that "Chrysler Group LLC" is exempt?

It's not publicly traded and that'd be placing Ford, who didn't use taxpayer monies at a disadvantage to Fix It Again Tony, and even more disgusting, the Useless Auto Workers...

      Chrysler's Owners:
United Auto Workers Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association (63.5%)
      Fiat S.p.A. (25%)
      U.S. Government (9.2%)
      Government of Canada (2.3%)

If that holds true... that plan sucks Governerd!
