The press will undoubtedly give the Sheriff more face time, as it is 'interesting' news.

The WORDS expressed by the president were mixed in with an underlying message no different than that he supported leading up to the memorial.  

I believe the message could have been more succinct, and accurate.  And its a shame the pep rally atmosphere, blue shirts, and what appears to be his next campaign slogan had to be so prominent in what should have been a solemn affair.

In the end, I hope he listens to the voice of the father of the slain little girl, rather than the voices of those around him.
