    was 100' under water 20,000 years ago?  

    Temperatures are always in flux.  Our world has seem temperatures that have been much higher, and much lower in all that time.

    If you want to document temperatures follow the methodology by THIS 10 year old and you might get it right.

    Global warming, is a hoax. PERIOD.

    As to coal..  the scrubbing technology has drastically cut down harmful emissions, and acid rain is no longer a major concern.  Furthermore, cheap and abundant energy makes for wealthier communities.  Wealthier communities do more to fight pollution BECAUSE it is a luxury.  When one is consumed with survival, pollution is LOW on the radar.
