    . . . of state currency, let's examine Article 1, Section 10 of the United States Constitution (with my emphasis added):

    No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

    So we're clear here; Article 1, Section 10 of the United States Constitution says very plainly that the only thing that states are allowed to use as currency, independent of the U. S. Treasury, is gold and silver coin.  Now then, please explain to me how we're going to do that.
