      not at all.  Lafaive and Gantert are just saying that, hey, if there's such a "great" return on investment - then why don't you, tourism industry, "invest" your own money.  They won't.  Because the studies are bogus.  I've tried getting the actual data - no can do.  The "study" is done by Longwoods International - a company that relies on the tourism industry for clients...they will NEVER find that "investing" in tourism ads are a bad investment.  As a matter of fact, this company has found that many many states should keep increasing their ad buys (but somehow all these states buying ads won't effect the other states ROI)....its all a pathetic scam.
