Nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, compelled Mike Cox to lie about the Michigan FairTax Proposal (which attack ads based on that proposal do).  Mike, and his supporters, have chosen to misrepresent the MFTP against better knowledge . . . and I intend to call him out on it.

And since you have concerns about the service tax element of the MIFairTax, then you clearly may not understand it.  Unlike the Granholm Service Tax, the MFTP does not have industry-specific or business-specific carveouts or loopholes (which is what made Granholm's offering so putrid).
