    this is not just some US House seat from nowhere, this has been in Democrat hands for 18 years.  The First District deserves a complete turnaround.  Conservative thought has always placed the citizen above the politician.  Allen is a politician, who is a moderate/liberal--no matter what he says.  Why did Stupak leave the race?  The Tea Party, that's why.  Allen is rumored to be hiring lawyers to refute the dual-registration of McDowell.  If he succeeds, McDowell will have to recuse and there will be nothing after August 3rd.

    The country needs conservatism.  Any Republican who supports the unionization of health care workers, nay, brings the legislation to the floor of the Senate, is no Republican, not now.  Further, if that move was Allen's pitch to Democrats, it is weak.  The first district is filled with people who have tough lives, tough because of the present administrations of Granholm and Obama, because they are extremely liberal.  Not because they are Democrats.
