The problem is, of course, that once we allowed the nannystate busybodies to pick up one shred of our health care we allowed them the perfect excuse to control our behaviors.  Elsewhere in this country there have already been attempts made to control the grease in foods, sugars, salt, and other additives.  In addition, there was a law that thankfully failed in Mississippi that would have made it illegal for a restaurant to even serve food to someone deemed obese. I anxiously await the formation of the carb police and the caffeine cops.

To me this isn't so much a debate about smokers versus nonsmokers, but it is a battle between private enterprises and the desire of bureaucrats to control aspects of an individual's right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
