elimination of the DEQ??? The DEQ really needs to go... by allowing it to continue as part of a joint dept. there would be no way to eliminate it... so hopefully this is simply step one to pink slipping the entire thing.

But the DNR and DEQ are two separate problems. the Department of Natural Resources is supposed to what? regulate the amount of animals taken and the kinds of insects we encounter? I mean, you wouldn't know it by the name, but seriously, Natural Resources means copper, iron, limestone, quartz, stuff like that.

The DEQ means environmental crap. Like, our water, air, trees and so on.

So, if the rock heads and the tree huggers get together, what do we have?

Answer that one, and you advance to the next level.
