Convincing so many does not come easy, but beating some over the head for making mistakes is a bad idea.

Libertarians are often their worst enemies by being.. "Libertarians".

Take Ron Paul.  Smart guy.  REALLY SMART GUY.

He is in a primary and has all the platform in the world to talk about economic reality.  But what he does instead is say the USA did it to ourselves with regard to terrorism.  Maybe or maybe not, but one thing for sure it was a dumb thing to do, because his mic was turned off for the next several months.

Its not that you shouldn't have principles or opinions, but knowing your audience is critical.

Turn on the expertise where it is respected and build your cred within a grouping.  At some point there is some trust that can be spent so you might have your points listened too all the way through.
