      have no room to talk - they've been supporters of the IDEA that the government has vested interests in what we put into, and do with, our bodies. The War on Drugs is but one example - followed by alcohol and tobacco taxes (so-called "sin taxes").

      The FDA is held up by conservatives as well as progressives as "the protector of the consumer."

      Want to be consistent? End the FDA. End the War on Drugs.

      Then I'll believe that the GOP gives a shit. As long as the GOP, and its conservative base, believes that the government can govern what we put into our bodies, I'll not believe a word of "protest."

      The victim here will be the small farmer. Corporate interests, the kind that control our country right now through BOTH parties, will be the benefactors. We lose when we have no choice except the black market - which will be created, just like in the war on drugs.
