The Afghanistan thing isn't so clear.  There is an argument that it WAS/IS the won's war because of his Iraq-Afghan posture.  

But getting control of the national GOP seems to have been a chore.  The night club thing was an embarrassment to be sure.

As for speaking engagement fees?  Doesn't pain me so much.

Oh and I am with you on the Pawlenty thing.  I recall thinking "establishment.."  when his name was first mentioned.
