      Although I understand and agree with your premise of mostly just ignoring their stupid insults because we're unto them and so we choose to not be distracted.

      As we look around us, we see that we're not getting the education we've been paying for and has been continually promised, we need some reminders and mis-education addressed. The basic point here, imo, is a reminder to not be intimidated. It's a reminder to ignore them when they tell us to STFU. I find that helpful.
