      . . . the fact that we're removing business taxation (which is 16% to 20% of the "on-the-shelf" price of everything . . . including tourist stuff) won't drop prices low enough to create a tourist draw?

      You clearly don't get this (or are willfully refusing to get it).

      What does taxation have to do with the tourism industry?  As I understand it, the only thing tourists give a rip about is the final price . . . and that's going down!

      The attraction of any business or industry - to include tourism - is a much broader economic package than just taxation.  The fact that MFTP removes all hidden taxation, and thus brings prices down, is but one element of a larger economic strategy.

      Seriously, why do you think that fair taxation alone is the cure-all?
