I know that Dillon "hinted" that this would be in conjunction to talk about taxes. Actually, Dillon has two more ideas, then the tax hike.

But the bottom line here in Lansing as well as in Macomb County; politicians are beginning to take notice that the public is no longer interested in getting nickel-and-dimed by politicians who take from family budgets without a care in the world, yet the elected officials are mysteriously exempt from making those very same choices with government spending.

One more thing, I was at the vote back in April in Macomb County.

The democratic majority who supported the tax hike were dumbfounded by not only the number of residents who were in attendance (including standing in an adjacent room), but that the residents outnumbered the unionized employees who were also in attendance that evening.

That was only one meeting.
