      It's because Hoekstra doesn't have administrative experience.

      Bouchard has an all-around background, administrative, business, legislative...  but he just doesn't have name recognition.

      Bouchard could be Sherrif of Oakland County for life if he wanted... a nice, $140k/year job.  I wonder if it's ego that's pushing him to run for Governor, a $175k/year job.  Surely it's not for the additional 35k/year and extra stress.
