    I don't know if "endorse" is the right word.  McHugh's list isn't running for office.

    I'd certainly be A-OK with most, if not all of the cuts on the list, though.  For sure.  Heck, some of them might not go far ENOUGH.

    Not wedded to it / them specifically.  In a $44 billion budget there is plenty of room for savings when push comes to shove... and this year it is and it will.

    The point of the list is to illustrate that there are real savings out there.  They'll hurt.  They'll suck.  But they're necessary.
