. . . stop using your skull as a butt-plug for a second and tune in here.  It ain't just that this is bad for Veterans . . . it's that this is a bad idea, PERIOD.

The state does have the money.

      • Dave Agema introduced a bill not too long ago to require every state-level elected official to take an immediate 10 percent pay cut.  The Governess signed a bill that makes that pay cut effective in 2011.

      • There are somewhere in the immediate vicinity of 37,000 state employees (read: "bureaucrats"); cutting their pay by as little as 3% would save enough money that this executive order would not have been necessary.  But the unions representing those employees refuse to make such a concession.

      • Why does Two-Penny's husband have a taxpayer-financed salary in the vicinity of $300,000 annually?

Seriously, the money's there.  And if Jenny No-Jobs would take the advice that I just gave you, then she'd see that.  Instead, she's using Veterans (as well as the disabled, prisoners, the unemployed, state troopers, and families . . . read the executive order that I linked to in the original post) as a means to the end of another tax hike.  (Or as a massive bone thrown to the MTLA, but I have no proof of that.)
