    Abandoning old fashioned conservative values (none / 0) (#11)

    As a middle aged white male, I see no reason to abandon old fashioned conservative values for fresh faces and new ideas.  I think fresh faces can represent conservative values pretty well so no abandonment is necessary, thank you, and really, how long has it been since we have seen a truly new idea forwarded from any level in government that didn't amount to an advancement of the state?  Government has been throwing new gift wrapping on the same old socialist ideas since Roosevelt.  

    Republicans are losing the PR war (and consequently the sales war with youth) because media and academia and pop culture strive to turn out young adults in their own image.  And, by the way, socialism will always sell a lot easier than hard work.  

    I do believe that stretching the Republican candidate demographic is important, but I think it is just as important for conservative youths to begin to infiltrate other professions primarily pursued and dominated by progressives.  These are important battlefields on which we have lost, and we have lost huge.
