On the cheap affordable to shoot, surplus stuff, that everyone likes. The prices floats up and down, sometimes it drys up, then it shows back up, at better prices. Alot of factors drive the price.  Wars, countries just stockpiling it for their militaries, material prices, red tape.

But when it gets like this, it is proof, We need an ammo manufacturing plant right here in Michigan that can compete, with that Russian plant, that puts out that Wolf brand.

back in the days, the Chinese had the best prices, but they stopped importing it. Alot of the indoor ranges hated that ammo, because it was steel-core, and blew holes through, the backstops at indoor ranges. If they ever brought it back, it would be better with lead core, soft-point hunting projectiles. It would be great. It was like $80 for 1340 rounds on stripper clips. Those were the good ol days
