      that hooked me on politics.  Was wrapping things up at GVSU that fall (my last semester) and on a whim decided to try a political internship.

      Turned into 40+ hours a week on the Cox for AG campaign and those guys, including the candidate, really took me under their collective wing.  

      5,200 votes and one heck of an experience.  Absolutely right, Dan, about the work ethic.
