This issue is massive, complex and something so big that, only government can fix it.

Yeah...

That is the foundational problem of an over aggressive government led by dogooder nincompoops that think they have the solution for everything.  Each and every solution they arrive at and implement creates additional problems that themselves metastasize into even larger problems, which are, of course, SO BIG ONLY THE GOVERNMENT CAN FIX THEM!

Does anyone believe that this banking/financial crisis of today is not at least in large part the result of a bumbling behemoth government being reined by a gaggle of benevolent bureaucrats? So, who do we look to to fix it?  That same boatload of kind overseeing nannies that got us into this huge mess to begin with.
