      The problem with tax credits is that they are used by other states to woo businesses, and force us to play chicken with our revenues to keep up against other states.

      There needs to be a way out of this... it's mutually assured destruction.

      We need major, and I mean major, tax and government reform.

       The only way out of this is to make this state attractive, and meet our obligations, without "competing" at this level... the idea of collecting our tax money and deciding who is good and bad and deserves help is horrifying.  We need to get out of the way.
