    No.  Only because he was appointed by a sitting Governor of the state of Illinois.

    I'm not arguing that Stabenow and Levin are racists.  I'm sure they aren't.  But they are political cowards for refusing to take a stand.

    If they feel that the "credentialing" sham was appropriate then they should say so.  If they feel Burris should be seated, per the US Constitution then they should say so.

    That's all.
