    Do banks have a responsibility not to lend money to people that want it?  Who gets to decide how much house someone is entitled to buy?  You? Me?  Or the gummint?  Please explain how banks are supposed to be responsible for the reckless behavior of their customers.  That is like holding Ford responsible for drunks who drive Fords.  Again, NOBODY forced ANYBODY to borrow money or buy a house they couldn't afford.  I shouldn't be obligated to bail someone out who behaves irresponsibly, just like I shouldn't have to serve time for someone who drives drunk.
