    a note from Joel Sheltrown re-affirming his support of "the cause" while suggesting that opposing partial-birth abortion presupposes support for government funded health insurance programs.

    Which I assumed was more of an under-the-table type attempt at scolding than a demand for quid pro quo until yesterday came and went with zero action from the Representative and the rest of the supposedly pro-life Dem caucus.  

    Maybe being pro-life only works for some of these Demorats when it gets them an expansion of big government and entitlement programs?  Or maybe the good Representative has zero power within his caucus to affect policy discussions.  Either way, innocent kids can still get their brains vaccuumed out today just like they could yesterday while twelve "lifers" feign piety and hope the rest of us don't notice their abject and continued failure.
