    ... phrasing on this:

    "He came under fire last month after TV networks showed portions of sermons in which he used biting words..."

    In short, The DFP is saying the meanies at the nets only cherry picked a few out-of-context "biting" words.  At least they didn't call him "feisty," which is the standard media codeword for someone obnoxious that liberals still love.
