      when PoG was all the rage in 2005.  Except that it wasn't.

      Folk on both sides of the aisle talked a good game and there were some interesting suggestions that came out of it that started to lead to changes, the budgets were balanced (not perfectly) but then alas... Dems swept to power and it hasn't been seen since.

      The problem with PoG is that its essentially still a big-government game.  Its all about spending what you HAVE (not MORE advocates shout, not LESS I respond).  Why make tough structural reforms if you can literally afford not to?
