And to think, it's all soooo easy.

So Reagan got two terms as president because he signed, as governor of California, the most liberal abortion laws in the country prior to Roe v Wade?  And even though he was opposed to abortion, everyone decided to overlook it?

You'll recall how well all of those northeastern pro choice Republicans did throughout the 70's and 80's when the GOP had massive majorities in the house and senate.  

Those were the good old days.  And we wrecked it to save babies. Oh, erm, excuse me.  It never happened.

We haven't been burning anyone at the stake in this party, and I know all sorts of republicans.  Pro life and pro choice, for legalizing drugs and against, atheists and christians, gay and straight, Pat Buchanan supporters and (a couple at least) W. supporters.

Milliken does that every election. He endorsed John Kerry because he was a gun grabber. He endorsed Granholm. He probably endorsed Obama too. He's endorsed them, because he's a leftist who supports high taxes, gun grabs, abortion on demand funded by taxpayers, and massive government regulations. Even Granholm is at least somewhat sane on guns and hunting. That's more than that rich leftist from Traverse City (like his ideological bloodbrother Michael Moore).
