    about it being a sucker bet.

    I do know for a fact, though, that the House GOP is pushing their cuts HARD right now.  And the Senate GOP voted to repeal the tax WITHOUT replacing the dollars.

    Now, the governor's made every indication that she'll never sign anything like that.  That she won't accept cuts.  But I agree... they should force a veto if possible.

    With Andy Dillon and the Dems in control of the House though it's unlikely the cuts will ever get anywhere legislatively.  The Lansing Democrats have blocked them thus far and look to be ready to block them the whole way.
