My pictures,[edit]
Excuse me. My picture BIBUD.png, is totally allowed to be posted on Wikipedia, look:
" Private use of the images created on SP-Studio.de is allowed. You can print them, use them for single T-Shirt, wallpapers or birthday card. School projects are fine too. But remember this: Always mention where those images come from! For example if you show SP-Studio pictures on your private homepage, Facebook, Blog or in a message board add a link to www.sp-studio.de. It doesn't matter if you add it to the picture or mention it elsewhere. You are allowed to use them for videos or comics too, as long as you give me credit. Avatars and small images do not need a link." - http://www.sp-studio.de/help.htm
Please, do not delete it.

Your protections of Wikipedia logo files[edit]
Hi, can you please explain to me your decision to protect those 21 Wikipedia logo files? As you might have noticed, they have already been protected by myself against re-uploads and moves; there's no point in protecting a file description page from editing by all users except administrators — if anyone decides to vandalise a file description page, it will not hurt us more than if they decided to destroy any other page on Commons.
You only barred all users from editing those pages, which means they will have to request edits from admins with {{editprotected}}, and it just adds up to our backlog. I suggest that you revert your protections to the level I set. Thanks, odder (talk) 08:20, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- They are fully protected either way as I added them to Commons:Auto-protected files/global/logos. I just updated the list, and fully protected them from editing so that it is obvious. A lot of them have a template message on the file page saying that the page is protected, directing them to the talk page. The template doesn't cover cascade protection, that's why I explicitly protected them so it catches it. Techman224Talk 08:30, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, I noticed, and I disagree with that, too. As I said, I think there is no point in protecting the file description pages, because it doesn't protect us from anything, and only bars regular editors from making whatever edits they'd like to make, and forces them to use {{editprotected}}. This is a very unwiki way of doing things. PS You don't need to alert me about your replies with a template; just use Echo notifications. odder (talk) 08:45, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
