Do you truly assume that the stimulus rebates are going to be the same as the FairTax prebates?

First thing you need to do is look at the two terms.  Please quit confusing the two, as doing so betrays your ignorance.

Second, as I said before, the prebate (and I stick to the Michigan proposal here) will go only to those who are on file as adult legal residents of the state.  Note that there are any number of methods already in place to accomplish this.

Third, if you're looking for a perfect system, then I suggest that you quit looking . . . because no such thing exists.  As I've said before (did you even read my previous posts on this topic?), if you expect perfection from a system designed by human hands, then you expect that which human hands are inherently incapable of providing.  The sinful corruption that Eve and Adam introduced into this world guaranteed that.  We have done the best that we can with this proposal, but a critical part of this - once implemented - requires vigilance on the part of those Michiganders who love Liberty and Freedom too much to allow it to be eroded by socialist subversion.

And make no mistake, the Socialists in our government will be looking for every mechanism under the sun to undermine this.  They are well aware of how badly they lose when the Michigan FairTax Proposal becomes law.  Oh, they'll be quiet for a little while, but as soon as they think you've got your guard down . . . they'll be back.

Socialists, as well as others who desire America's permanent destruction, know that the constitution cannot be directly overthrown.  So they will, as they do now, "innovate" upon the core constitutional principles that define our republic.  And under specious pretexts they insert these alterations in such a manner as to permanently drain the energy from our free-enterprise system, with the ultimate goal of permanently undermining that which cannot be directly destroyed.

According to Abraham Lincoln, "While the people retain their virtue and their vigilance, no administration by any extreme of wickedness or folly can seriously injure the government in the short space of four years."  And that is very true.  The key point here is that the people must remain vigilant against the onslaughts that are intended to destroy the republic.
