A Major Mistake.

Contributions to NRCC and NRSC forsake donor intent.

Received this today.

WASHINGTON — President Donald J. Trump and the Republican National Committee (RNC) have announced the transfer of $8 million to the NRSC and the NRCC in support of their midterm election efforts. The Trump Campaign will max out to nearly 100 candidates in its first round of contributions. The RNC will transfer $4 million to the NRSC and $4 million to the NRCC.

Not good.

Truth be told, I am still not a fan of my own state’s Republican political apparatus as they attempt to manipulate primary elections. Just take a look at who gets the stage when the president or Vice President comes to town.  But I am happy to contribute through my local dues and contributions to my local party, and sometimes nationally.

The RNC has not always been great in its finances historically, but has gotten a few of my shekels as contribution from time to time.  And the most recent iteration of it under chair McDaniel has been as an excellent fundraiser, and booster of the president in the face of naysayers and #NeverTrump failbots even within our own party. (some of those supported by the NRSC & NRCC)  I was ready to make another contribution, but must now stay the pen.

Indeed, the RNC has become monster under Ronna McDaniel, and has out-raised the crazy left by multiples.  It is a great example of how the guy in the white house along with good management can bring about a restoration of faith in the political process and reward a party for getting it there.

Ronna has been doing a great job.  However, the history of the NRCC and the NRSC has been one of feeding the swamp dwellers over the years.  These are terrible places to put donor resources, and this socialism of political dollars will backfire on the RNC.

I for one do not put money into an organization to have them dole it out to others who cannot earn it themselves.  There is a reason the NRSC and NRCC need that money.  They are not trusted by those of us who elected Donald Trump as President.

The RNC, and Ronna McDanial should reconsider and perhaps apologize to the GOP faithful for misabusing the trust of the donors to the RNC.

Failure to do so will result in fewer receipts.

Trump Campaign and RNC Announce Transfers to NRCC and NRSC

WASHINGTON — President Donald J. Trump and the Republican National Committee (RNC) have announced the transfer of $8 million to the NRSC and the NRCC in support of their midterm election efforts. The Trump Campaign will max out to nearly 100 candidates in its first round of contributions. The RNC will transfer $4 million to the NRSC and $4 million to the NRCC.

“Thanks to President Trump and our supporters, we have the resources to protect and strengthen our Republican majorities in Congress,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “Because of the President’s leadership, Americans have higher wages, more jobs, more money in their pockets and results heading into the midterm elections. Together with our sister committees, I’m confident we can deliver that positive message to Americans all across the country and elect more Republicans so President Trump can continue to deliver for the American people.”

“President Trump needs more elected leaders in Congress to help him implement his America First agenda and together, I’m confident we can deliver,” said Campaign Manager Brad Parscale. “The President authorized this support for the GOP committees and candidates because he is committed to supporting the NRSC, NRCC, and congressional candidates who will work with him as we make America great again.”

The RNC and Trump campaign have made historic investments in the midterms. The RNC will spend a quarter billion dollars to protect Republican majorities in Washington and State houses across the country, marking the largest ground game investment ever made. The RNC’s commitment spans over two dozen states as the committee expands its permanent, data-driven field program for the midterms.

RNC field teams have made more than 22 million voter contacts across the country and trained nearly 17,000 Trump Republican Leadership Initiative fellows to expand the Party’s reach ahead of November. Campaigns in all 50 states, including every targeted U.S. Senate race this cycle, are using RNC Data to help them win. The committee has collected more than 100 billion data points to better target voters, and has worked with the Trump Campaign to gain over 16 million new email addresses through digital fundraising efforts.

I cannot help to wonder how many from that 100-or-so list were part of the Never-Trump apparratus?

A conservative donor makes the biggest impact by donating directly to candidates or ideological groups like Club for Growth. Republican committees exist to elect all Republicans, good and bad alike.

Club for Growth are neolib hacks, and it's time we conservatives rejected them.
