Same As It Ever Was

Why would we expect anything else from the party of Clinton?

Flint Water ImageDemocrats have been screaming about Republican leadership’s failure on the Flint water issue.

While we have no overreaching love for the governerd, who brought us expansion of Obamacare, lost our insurer of last resort, broke the law for his ‘roads’ funding boondoggle, and still hands out money like its not his own, it was not Rick Snyder who put lead in the pipes of Flint.  He took credit for the failure of his bureaucracy to properly assess a fast developing public health issue, but he surely did not cause the problem.

Was it the bureaucracy itself?  Yes.  Decades of poor decision making by those who have by hook or crook made their life’s work to be the decimation of ‘Buick City.’  Poor planning and perhaps a little power mongering graft?  From Reuters:

“Henderson’s lawsuit alleged that Mayor Karen Weaver ordered her assistant and a volunteer to redirect donors from a local fund set up to help families affected by the water crisis to her political action committee instead.

The lawsuit charged that the city employee was “specifically directed” to instruct people “step-by-step” to donate to the mayor’s “Karenabout Flint” fund through its website, rather than the Charity Safe Water/Safe Homes fund through the city’s website.

Sure thing.

Isn’t ‘redirection’ something that has been happening in Flint and Detroit for decades? And haven’t these once proud bastions of industry and commerce been suffering under single party (guess which one) rule in a significantly parallel time line?

Bureaucracy in all of its manifestations is hardly a single party entity. ‘Players’ come in many shapes, colors, and political stripes.  The failures which dominate the government side of the equation are populated by a diverse group of progressives.

But Flint’s past, and current, and (probable) future operations will be directed by those who will undoubtedly pull the lever for the criminal screecher Hillary Clinton this November.  It is the abject failure of those who lead from the Democrat ranks that will continue to mismanage resources, and realign blame when it suits them.

An no one should, or will be surprised.

Sadly, she isn't the first politician to prostitute herself on the tragedy of others.

Nice to see that integrity is still a job requirement to run for political office.

And DON'T think for a second that this is any type of endorsement for that snake Mike Bishop!

I have a hard time blaming "progressives" or singling out their party for destroying hope in Flint or any other bankrupt Michigan government (which most indeed are when an older generation 'allows' simple math to be brought forward in grassroots debates) when needed bankruptcy was such a dirty word for so many years in the other or their 'conservatve' wing.

Those kids would have never been poisoned had the 'savior' party very simply and IMMEDIATELY pushed for the exact OPPOSITE legislative cronyism typified by their parallel (and unanimously passed) "pension obligaton bonds with no vote of the people required" core beliefs that every single establishment-wed tea partier couldn't agree with more.

These kids won't be blaming simple fallen human nature and/or the devil himself for the above trajedies or those who were largely responsible for causing them.

They will look to those who were given every legislative and grassroots opportunity to do what was not easy but HARD (in terms of shard self sacrifice by all)..and who chose to take the EASY way out so that their older arses could more easily slip in to retirement (themselves) completely unmolested.

Heroes are too busy saving our children's future (with not a care for their own) to worry about where the devil is at any given moment.

Would you agree that to solve a problem, one must identify it properly first?

"...Would you agree that to solve a problem, one must identify it properly first?..."

I don't believe that our children (or history) will ever forgive us for taking well over 7 years to "properly identify" fiscal solutions requiring immediate and very simple shared sacrifice.

These kids know full well that 'Michigan conservatives' were not only more than capable of doing simple math but LOUDLY and in person confronting those pushing these bailouts for even longer.

Remember..Michigan Baby Boomers pushing children to the deck while they rushed the lifeboats were the POSTER CHILDREN for this grassroots (uncontested) attitude statewide during even the auto company bailouts.

Perhaps we should "study", "understand" or "identify" these generation crushing thefts of our state and national treasuries even more as they continue unabated.
