Depopulating The Upper Peninsula

energyinfographicjpg-01Under the new EPA rules that our congress (incl Dan Benishek) has ALLOWED to be developed, the probability of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula being vacated is elevated.

This is no hype.

The upper peninsula is served primarily by Coal fired electrical generation.  Replacing that is cost prohibitive, and efforts to upgrade existing service has already begun, yet fails to meet the now even more stringent regulatory efforts by the Obama administration.

With even the cleanest combustion, the product is CO2 and water vapor.  Both are greenhouse gasses, but one is being used as a lever by those who wish to get complete control over the population; where it lives, what it eats, and how it heals itself, etc..

The failure of Congress to remove funding for the EPA has allowed the poser in chief to continue ratcheting up the difficulty level for Americans to live without the threat of government shutting them down.  This is not good policy, but rather a means to an end for an ideological presidency.

We have little time left.  Start getting involved

AFP: Peters Paved Way for Job-Killing EPA Carbon Regulations
Peters voted against curtailing EPA authority on greenhouse gases, set the table for today's news.

LANSING -- The Michigan chapter of Americans for Prosperity is calling on Rep. Gary Peters to reverse his support for rate-hiking, economy-shrinking carbon regulations, after he voted to pave the way for Environmental Protection Agency regulations set to be released today.

According to estimates from the Chamber of Commerce, these regulations could suck $51 billion out of our still-struggling economy, cost 224,000 jobs every year, and cost Americans $289 billion more in electricity bills by 2030.

"Rep. Peters has repeatedly supported empowering Washington bureaucrats to hike prices on the energy Michigan families need to power their lives," said AFP-Michigan State Director Scott Hagerstrom. "We shouldn't have to worry about touching our thermostats or starting our cars this summer because Gary Peters wants to change global temperatures by tiny fractions of a degree."

Peters voted with energy regulation extremists to raise the prices of energy for Americans through a "cap and trade" scheme and to empower the EPA to implement today's announced carbon regulations. On other energy issues, Peters has also voted to restrict economic growth through energy development.

Then, there's this blast from the Magic Underpants not-so distant past...

24 + 4 = 30, and a few hundred million $$$ shuffled into John's pocket waiting for Dan at pennies on the dollar.

Yep. As long as Team R's sociopaths are perceived as being any different from the sociopaths on Team D, enjoy the thousand years of darkness that Reagan spoke about.
