State Board of Ed Candidate Sonjalita Hulbert Attended ‘Black Lives Matter’ Rally in June

Recently, I was accused of gutter politics by Michigan state board of education candidate Sonjalita Hulbert for pointing out her history of supporting Black Lives Matter.

Hulbert posted a video response to my blog in which she suggested it is beyond the pale to hold a political candidate accountable to their on-the-record statements regarding pressing issues.

Pro-Black Lives Matter Social Justice Warrior is Running as Republican Candidate in State Board of Ed Race

In recent months, the “Black Lives Matter” movement has shaken the country to its very foundation. The movement has razed cities, desecrated cultural icons, unleashed an orgy of violence, and made a mockery of the rule of law. It is an existential threat to our civilization and has the nation on the verge of civil war.

Unfortunately, a Republican candidate for the Michigan board of education – Sonjalita Hulbert – has a long history of supporting Black Lives Matter with very left-wing stances on social justice issues.

How Michigan Conservatives Can Stay Connected in the Age of Big Brother and Total Corporate Censorship

Friends,

The censorship is rapidly intensifying with November’s election coming into focus, and the forces that have lined up in favor of destroying our digital freedom is jawdropping.

An advertisement boycott against Facebook has lined up the largest, most powerful corporations in the world against the tech giant. Why? Because Facebook isn’t doing enough Draconian censorship against conservatives who are pushing “hate” on the platform. As a matter of fact, these corporations want Facebook to censor President Donald Trump, which would constitute blatant electoral interference, to help prevent him from winning re-election.

A Proven Grassroots Republican Leader is Challenging Rashida Tlaib for Congress

Rashida Tlaib has become a household name in the world of politics—just not in a way she would like. The boisterous, foul-mouthed member of the far-left “squad” has been one of the most divisive members of congress since her election back in 2018.

Before even taking office, Tlaib exclaimed in front of her supporters and her 8-year-old son, that she was “going to impeach the motherfu**er!” Tlaib, who has also served in the State House has gained a reputation of being a problem seeker, not a problem solver. Since her swearing in, Tlaib has sought the limelight blaming conservatives for the fake beating of actor Jussie Smollet as well as assigning blame on “white supremacy” for the Jersey City shooting which turned out was committed by two black individuals.

Tlaib has angered many who see her as being more loyal to her native Palestine (and very hostile to our greatest ally in the state of Israel) than she is to the residents of Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.

Legislation to Stop Drag Queen Story Hour and Abuse of ‘Transgender’ Children is Needed in Michigan

As the LGBT movement gets more bold, legislation is needed to stop widespread child abuse that is quickly becoming normalized across the country.

Other states have introduced such legislation, but Michigan is lagging behind. We need to be in contact with our lawmakers telling them about this problem and why it needs to be stopped right now.

EXPOSED: State House Candidate Dave Morgan’s History of Supporting Hillary Clinton, Socialist Healthcare, Forced Unionism, and Tax Hikes

Rumor has it the GOP establishment is angling to put state rep candidate Dave Morgan on stage with Donald Trump during the President’s upcoming rally next week in Battle Creek.

Morgan is running to be the state representative in Michigan’s 62nd state house district. He is the Pennfield Charter Township Supervisor and has a history as a military veteran and a police officer. He is running a campaign to secure “the safety and security of our residents, improving our road conditions and transportation infrastructure, and to instill values of restraint and fiscal responsibility and continue to be a strong advocate for early, K-12, and adult public education.”

While there is no reason to doubt that Morgan has a genuine interest in serving the public, his politics are very progressive. He has given $30,479 to Democratic Party candidates over the past 9 years, as opposed to only $12,142 to Republican Party candidates.

New MIGOP Sell-Out Scam Revealed: Empowering Counties to Hike Gas Tax!

The Michigan Republican Party of Rick Snyder is still intact, as Republican lawmakers in Lansing are getting ready to push another gas tax on us!

We just did a gas and fee increase in 2015, which was also pushed by Republicans. They are getting ready to screw us again. Freshman State Rep. Jack O’Malley (the next Arlan Meekhof in training) is leading this new round of armed robbery against the unsuspecting taxpayer.

O’Malley wrote an op/ed in the Detroit News yesterday arguing how his “smart spending” legislation will fix the roads:

Justin Amash Acolyte Praises Primary Challenger Jim Lower on State House Floor

Just one day after state Rep. Jim Lower (R-Greenville) announced his primary campaign challenge to ‘Never Trumper’ U.S. Rep. Justin Amash (R-Cascade), one of Rep. Lower’s most conservative colleagues, Rep. John Reilly (R-Oakland) gave strong praise for Lower on the House Floor as well as on Facebook.

The remarks from Reilly carry some significance because he shares much in common with Amash. Like Amash, Reilly is one of only a few lawmakers to post explanations for each of his votes on Facebook. And Reilly often votes against the majority of his own party when he feels it violates his liberty-oriented principles.

According to various scorecards at MichiganVotes.org, Reilly has one of the most conservative voting records of any of his colleagues.

Yet Reilly saluted Lower the very day after the Congressman announced his bid to unseat Amash on the occasion of Reilly’s first bill of the year passing the House.

“This common sense bipartisan legislation has faced surprising hurdles at every step, but throughout the process, Local Government Chairman Representative Jim Lower helped move this legislation forward to do the right thing for these needy children,” Rep. Reilly posted on Facebook. “Thank you Representative Lower for your hard work and support for this bill.”

Reilly’s legislation, which would increase the number of children permitted in foster homes located on large properties of 20 acres or more from 6 to 10, had passed Lower’s committee last year, but was vetoed by then-Governor Rick Snyder. Rep. Reilly re-introduced the bill, which was referred again to Lower’s committee. After passing in the Local Government Committee, the bill was re-referred to the House Ways and Means Committee, where Lower testified in support of the bill alongside Reilly. The bill then passed that committee unanimously.

It is therefore possible that Reilly was simply thanking his colleague for his support of the bill. However, given that Lower announced his candidacy just the day before, Reilly may have went out of his way to signal his support for Lower. Reilly’s office declined to comment.

It is worth nothing that Reilly is an outspoken Trump supporter, for his nationalist ‘America First’ economic policies and restoration of U.S. sovereignty. Reilly is probably the liberty movement’s most shining legislator in Lansing. The fact that Reilly stands with Trump and not with Amash in his impeachment crusade shows that Amash’s hostility toward the President is alienating liberty supporters.

On the House floor, Reilly thanked “the chairman and representative of the 70th district” for his patience and support for the bill. House rules forbid members from naming one another in speeches.

The Swamp Looms Over The MIGOP State Convention Once Again

It should come as no surprise to any conservative that the SWAMP is looming over the MIGOP State Convention scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday at the Lansing Center. While we tell voters we are going to drain the swamp, typically the swamp is coronated at these kind of affairs. It’s part of the immense hypocrisy that stains our party.

The swamp has its chosen candidates picked out. At the top of the ticket is former State Rep. Laura Cox, who lost a winnable State Senate seat to a completely unknown Democrat no-name challenger last year. After demonstrating her inability to connect with the public, she is going to be rewarded with the biggest leadership position in the party. It doesn’t get much more swampy than that.

Making matters worse, Cox is running a gutter campaign against her opponent Gina Barr, who was Director of Women and Urban Engagement for the Republican National Committee and worked as a regional field director helping win elections for Republicans across the country. The special interests are deluging delegates with false information urging them to vote for Cox, whose record of supporting tax hikes, spending increases, and crony capitalism in the state legislature is well-known.

The Final Grift: A ‘Lame Duck’ Anecdote of Republican Cowardice

Lame duck session is one of the most fascinating and illuminating times within our government. It is a period when all pretenses of our democracy are jettisoned and a mad cash grab takes place as term-limited legislators secure employment and other benefits in smoke-filled backrooms with lobbyists. It rips off the facade and exposes government for the cruel, soulless machine that it truly is.

Few watched the late-night session that went past 3AM last week when the worst bills were being rammed down our throats. I tuned in to watch the after-hours con job the next day on the Michigan Legislature website as I was sleeping at the time. The fact that the proceedings took place in the dead of night begs the following questions: What are the optics of using the midnight hour to push the lousiest bills forward? What does someone who is less politically inclined think of Republicans after the media reports on these shenanigans? And is it any wonder why we took it on the chin during last month’s mid-term elections?
