#SurrenderCaucus: Sakwa-Led Sabotage Plan Backfires Spectacularly in 11th District MIGOP

It’s been a jubilant year in the wake of Trump’s ascension to the Presidency, but the excitement hasn’t lasted. I regret to report to you that the Trump wave is already being aggressively squandered by the same, old, establishment Republican forces. Activists in the 11th District Republican Party made national news for their efforts to get Trump elected. Instead of embarking upon a new era of unity, the establishment actors decided to kick their deceptions up several notches at last week’s county convention.

The Oakland County GOP convention actually got off to a good start. After a series of grueling conventions, there was a sense that all involved wanted party unity and a smoothly-conducted affair. It ran fine up until the point when delegates were slotted into their district sub-caucuses. From there, establishment forces showed that they were not acting in good faith but instead were leading principled delegates into an unsuspecting ambush. The Trump ‘kum-ba-ya’ moment was not meant to be. The establishment cares more about pride, ego, and control than keeping the peace and crushing Democrats, and their agenda couldn’t be more obvious.

First, Matt Maddock was elected chair by an overwhelming margin. This is what usually happens, but due to Chairwoman Theresa Mungioli’s unilateral slaughter of over 500 precinct delegate posts throughout Oakland County, the result was not as certain as it was in convention’s past. Unfortunately for the establishment, their dirty tricks backfired, and Matt easily claimed the chair. Instead of taking their loss with dignity and self-respect, they rushed headlong into a new series of dirty tricks. This latest disgrace has perhaps obliterated any lasting opportunity for party unity once and for all.

After Maddock was elected to his position, there was a fierce debate over the rules. Discussion was called, and delegates began to speak. In spite of a tense atmosphere and heated animosity between the grassroots and establishment factions, none of the establishment lackey speakers were shouted down. Even as they were spewing deliberate falsehoods and other ignorant nonsense, they were granted their right to speak. On the other hand, Matt’s wife, Meshawn wasn’t treated with the same respect. She was Co-Chair for Trump in Oakland County and led Michigan Women for Trump. She was one of the most influential and hard-working Republicans out there working to turn Michigan Red Again. She went around the state at her own expense on Trump’s behalf to stage events and even invented the flash mobs that went viral and spread to other states as well.

Privacy & The 14th Amendment

The illusionary right to privacy vs the rights of the unborn - Revisiting Roe v. Wade

This [past] week we have seen demonstrations and heard commentary pertaining to, and from advocates supporting, either a Pro Life or Pro Choice policy agenda. The majority of both have been engaged in strong and emotional, and often non-relevant rhetoric.

There has been little if any discussion on the laws pertaining to abortion as it has evolved (Roe v. Wade and its progeny), and whether the law as determined in 1972, that was based on the state of science and medical information pertaining to embryology as it existed then, would be sustained today.

There is perceptual fear among those that support Pro Choice that if Roe v Wade were to be re-examined based on the medical and scientific knowledge pertaining to embryology known today, that the medical, scientific and legal support for the findings in Roe would either be superseded or limited.

An intelligent discussion pertaining to the basis for either a Pro Choice or Pro Life policy requires an understanding of the Supreme Court’s rationale that established a limited right to an abortion as set forth in Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973) and subsequent and related decisions.

A history lesson is obviously in order.

Just in case you’ve missed this, President Trump signed an executive order temporarily banning immigrants from certain nations with ties to islamic terrorism from entering the United States.

As usual, the pundits are working feverishly to spin this, with Team “d” demonstration again why they got their backsides handed to them last November.

Sadly, some Michigan Representative, like Rep. Justin Amash, either have no problems with seeing dead Americans or they require a remedial lesson in recent US History.

In Rep. Amash’s case, I’m hoping that it is the latter.

Required Reading

The Law - By Bastiat is a key to reaching those who misunderstand the role of government.

If.

If we could persuade our brothers (sisters) to engage in a thought process that exists outside the politically expedient norms.  If we could UN-indoctrinate the children of selfishness; those who feel it is their right to plunder through government for their personal comfort.

If, with what little comprehension remains for the respect of our nation’s founding, we could encourage enough of our current generational weak-link to read The Law By Frederic Bastiat, it might be easier to bring our nation back to the glory once given it by our creator.

It begins

The Law

The law perverted! And the police powers of the state perverted along with it! The law, I say, not only turned from its proper purpose but made to follow an entirely contrary purpose!
The law become the weapon of every kind of greed! Instead of checking crime, the law itself guilty of the evils it is supposed to punish!

If this is true, it is a serious fact, and moral duty requires me to call the attention of my fellow-citizens to it.

Life Is a Gift from God

We hold from God the gift which includes all others. This gift is life—physical, intellectual, and moral life.
But life cannot maintain itself alone. The Creator of life has entrusted us with the responsibility of preserving, developing, and perfecting it. In order that we may accomplish this, He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties. And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources. By the application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them. This process is necessary in order that life may run its appointed course.

Life, faculties, production—in other words, individuality, liberty, property—this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it.

Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place.

So What About That ‘Establishment?’

What constitutes an ‘Establishment’ player?

Since the rise of the ‘Tea Party’ movement, certain elements of it have been co-opted by those who were originally threatened by it. The reality that money is the mothers milk of politics cannot be ignored however. The left has their billionaire backers, and we have our own.

Power is an aphrodisiac.

After spending more than a couple million in political expenditures attempting to gain a regents seat on the most liberal university in our state, Ron Weiser finally succeeded in 2016.  Riding the coattails of the now-president, a man who was one of the few candidates he did not financially support prior to Trump winning the GOP nomination.

That is how it works however, when an power seeking opportunist with a full wallet wants access to the oval office perhaps?  Truth be told, the $120,000 (roughly) given to the Trump Victory PAC may well have played a small part in Trump’s victory in Michigan.  Even one stop missed (easily $100K in expense) might have spelled doom for the effort.

Trump Inaugural

A great address, and some photos from our Michigan Delegation

That was fun.

With the vanquished foes captured by pomp and tradition, the incoming president made it clear that it would not be business as usual.  With Obama directly behind, Donald Trump laid waste to the ideas responsible for the ruinous past 8 years, and possibly more.

What it would have like to be the fly running the show in the 44th president’s skull for that 20 or so minutes.

Wow.

These pictures were taken by Tom Stilling who was at the event.

Glory Glory!

Tear of joy in DC and around the country as we celebrate the incoming 45th President Donald Trump

Last night Donald Trump and family, in a inaugural-eve show looked splendid.

The Battle Hymn of the Republic playing with fireworks and cheers in the background. What an outstanding way to celebrate the last day, and the end-of-an-error Barack Obama. May God grace our nation once more under the leadership of the new president.

Indeed, the challenges will be great, but with the Almighty’s Blessings, “His Truth” will certainly be “Marching on.”

My name is Kenneth Lloyd, I am running for MIGOP Outreach Vice Chair, and this is my story.

My name is Kenneth Lloyd, and I am running to be the next Outreach Vice Chair for the Michigan Republican Party. This is my story.

I was born in 1990 with the condition known as cerebral palsy. It affects the central nervous system and makes it very difficult to control the movement of my muscles, which is why I use a wheelchair. Thankfully, I am in stable condition and the disability has not impacted my cognitive skills. I have never let my physical limitations stop me from working to achieve my goals in life.

In 2009, I graduated from Osborn High School as the Valedictorian of my class. In the fall of that same year, I began my undergraduate collegiate education at Wayne State University. In the spring of 2013, I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in political science from Wayne State University. In the fall of 2015, I began working on my Master’s degree in political science at Wayne State University. Politics is a great passion of mine.

One of the reasons as to why I am seeking this degree is because I want to teach political science at the collegiate level, to try to help offset the negative effects that left-wing indoctrination is having on the political thinking of college students. I understand the history of the Founding Fathers, and why they are so important. I want to keep that legacy alive and bestow it to the next generation. My own perseverance, aided by rapidly-developing technology, will allow me to make my dreams a reality.
